New Strands Master Class Series: A.C.T. is offering a series of free master classes taught by some of our New Strands artists. These masterclasses are open to the public to participate in and observe.

"Thinking About Theater in the 21st Century" with Carey Perloff

How has the non-profit theater evolved over the past 50 years and what it might look like going forward? A.C.T. Artistic Director Carey Perloff discusses the challenges of creating live theater in the age of technology, the relationship of classics to new plays, and the crisis of representation in American theater.


 

 

 

Clown Master Class with Stephen Buescher

Stephen Buescher (head of movement in A.C.T.’s Master of Fine Arts Program in Acting) leads participants through a series of fun exercises unlocking your inner clown.
