A.C.T. Salutes Beulah Steen

Photos by Ken Friedman

On May 26, 2005, A.C.T. saluted long-time receptionist Beulah Steen on her years of service with the company. Having been "the voice of A.C.T." for 36 seasons, Steen was often the first person visitors saw and spoke to upon arriving at the company's administrative offices. In her time with the company, Steen became close wih A.C.T. alums Anna Deveare Smith, Annette Bening, Denzel Washington, and almost every person to pass through A.C.T.'s doors. She is now retired and lives closer to her family in Texas. Images from her retirement party are below.
