The Geary Theater
With its stunning, Beaux Arts–style design, the 100-year-old Geary Theater is one of the most beautiful buildings in the country and home to
mainstage productions throughout the season. Check out

The Garret
Tucked into the 5th floor of The Geary Theater, this unique performance space is home to cabaret performances and other special events throughout the season.
Parking and Directions:
Parking is available at the Mason/O’Farrell Garage, located at the corner of Mason and O'Farrell streets. Theatergoers can park for up to five hours at the Mason/O’Farrell Garage for $12. Show your ticket stub upon exiting to receive this special discount.
A.C.T. subscribers have the option to purchase prepaid parking booklets for the Mason/O’Farrell Garage when they order their season subscriptions.

The Costume Shop
A.C.T.’s home for new work! Located across Market Street from Civic Center’s UN Plaza, this intimate, versatile downtown venue houses an eclectic lineup of performances: from innovative Master of Fine Arts Program productions, to eye-catching work by local artists and performing arts companies.

Public transportation is recommended. This venue is located within a block of the Civic Center BART and MUNI stations. Parking is available at the SOMA Grand Parking Garage at 1160 Mission Street.

The Theater at Children's Creativity Museum
Located in scenic Yerba Buena Gardens, this 140-seat theater houses intimate professional productions and Master of Fine Arts Program and Young Conservatory performances each season.
Parking and Directions:
Park at the 5th & Mission/Yerba Buena Parking Garage on Mission Street between 4th and 5th streets, or at the Moscone Garage on 3rd Street between Howard and Folsom.

The Strand Theater
1127 MARKET STREET, SAN FRANCISCO
Coming in 2014! First opened in 1917, this historic cinema is currently under construction to become a newly revitalized theater space, giving A.C.T. a dynamic new space in which to produce and present new work and new artists as part of the rapidly transforming Central Market neighborhood. Current plans for the Strand include a 300-seat theater, a mixed-use space for classrooms, rehearsals, and cabaret performances, and a restaurant. Click here for more information.
