Corporate Opportunities and Benefits

A.C.T.'s Corporate Partners Circle is a corporate sponsorship program comprised of businesses that value the arts and understand the importance of bringing dynamic, transformational theatrical experiences to the people of the San Francisco Bay Area. A.C.T. depends on the support of corporate and in-kind donations to further its mission to nuture the art of live theater through dynamic mainstage and conservatory productions, world-class actor training, and engaging theater arts education programs. Corporate Partners Circle members receive the full benefits of collaborating with a nationally acclaimed theater company, including:

  • Extraordinary corporate hospitality and networking opportunities, memorable business-to-business entertainment, and popular employee ticket discounts
  • Unique access to the renowned actors and artists, as well private backstage tours
  • Premium complimentary tickets for employees and clients (tickets can also be donated to the community charity of your choice)
  • Targeted brand recognition in association with A.C.T. through extensive magazine, newspaper, web, and other marketing vehicles

Levels and Benefits

PRODUCTION SPONSORSHIPS

Stage Partner ($5,000–$9,999)

  • Listing in mainstage performance programs for an entire season
  • Listing on the sponsor wall in theater for the entire season
  • Listing in selected marketing materials
  • Discount on advertisement space in performance programs
  • 2 seats at the Annual Corporate Curtain Call Luncheon
  • Logo and link on the A.C.T. website
  • Opportunity to host a company night at the theater, including:
    • Discounted rental of private entertainment space
    • Company name on signs in main lobby
    • Complimentary use of the VIP Lounge during intermission
    • Eight premium seats for a production of your choice and the opportunity to purchase additional premium seats at a 25% discount

Performance Partner ($10,000–$24,999)

All of the above, plus:

Recognition as Corporate Sponsor of a production of your choosing, which includes:
  • Listing in promotional materials, such as direct mail brochures and e-blasts
  • Logo on performance program title page
  • Logo on promotional posters outside the theater
  • Two complimentary tickets to the opening night performance and invitations to the opening night dinner of your production
  • Eight additional premium seats for your production (16 seats total) and the opportunity to purchase additional premium seats at a 25% discount
  • Sponsorship credit in production press release
  • Two complimentary house seats for all productions for an entire season
  • 20% discount for employees on Studio A.C.T. classes
  • 25% employee discount to select productions

Producing Partner ($25,000–$49,999)

All of the above, plus:

Recognition as a Lead Corporate Sponsor of a production of your choosing, which includes:

  • Logo on promotional materials and select Bay Area newspaper ads
  • Two additional complimentary tickets to the opening night performance and dinner (four total) for your production
  • Enhanced opportunity to host a company night at the theater, including:
    • Complimentary use of private entertainment space
    • 20 complimentary tickets to the performance and the opportunity to purchase additional seats at a 25% discount
    • Special appearance by cast members at your event
    • Company name and logo on signs in the theater lobby

Executive Partner ($50,000–$99,999)
*Executive Partner opportunities can be customized to meet the needs of your company.

All of the above, plus additional benefits and recognition such as:

  • Twenty additional premium seats (total of 40) for a production of your choice and the opportunity to purchase additional premium seats at a 25% discount
  • Opportunity to host a company night at the theater, including all Producing Partner benefits, plus:
    • Guided post performance backstage tour for special guests
    • Opportunity to include cast and creative team members in your event
  • Use of the VIP Lounge at intermissions for special guests throughout the season
  • Logo and name recognition for an entire season in and on:
    • Sponsor wall in the theater
    • A.C.T. season ticket brochure
    • Select Bay Area newspaper ads
    • All A.C.T. performance programs

Presenting Sponsor ($100,000 & Above)

Presenting Sponsorships offer corporate partners the option to create a highly customized benefits and recognition package that takes full advantage of A.C.T.'s multi-faceted marketing programs, with over seven million promotional placements each year. Presenting Sponsors receive season-long recognition and maximum visibility, including the opportunity for co-branding, increased logo placement and name recognition, as well as enhanced hospitality benefits for employees and guests throughout A.C.T.'s entire mainstage season. THEATER EDUCATION SPONSORSHIPS ($5,000 & Above)

A.C.T.'s multifaceted Theater in Schools Program provides students from across the San Francisco Bay Area with special access to student matinees, customized workshops facilitated by theater professionals, and stimulating study guides developed for the classroom. A.C.T. offers a range of opportunities for Theater Education Sponsors, which can be customized to fit your company's charitable giving needs.

In addition to the range of recognition and hospitality benefits available to production sponsors, Education Sponsors also receive:

  • Recognition in association with each of the education and outreach programs of the season
  • Recognition in A.C.T.'s Theater in Schools Student Matinee Brochure and ArtReach "Words on Plays" study guides, student classroom edition
  • In-theater signage for all Student Matinee performances

SPECIAL EVENTS SPONSORSHIPS ($5,000 & Above)

In the 2011–12 Season, A.C.T. offers the following special events for patrons and donors:
  • Season Opening Celebrations: September 27 & 28, 2011
  • Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon: January 24, 2012
  • Season Gala, honoring Artistic Director Carey Perloff's 20th year at A.C.T.: Spring 2012
