What You Will

Roger Rees in What You Will

July 18–August 9, 2008

A very hysterical (somewhat historical) one-horsed gallop through all things Shakespearean.

"Hilarious! Masterful,
virtuosic . . . a comic gem"

San Francisco Chronicle

What You Will is the one-man everything there is "to be or not to be" about William Shakespeare: the greatest soliloquies ever written next to side-splitting accounts of the funniest disasters ever perpetrated on the stage. There's Romeo, Juliet's foolish Nurse, gory Macbeth, Hamlet, and the oh-so-tragic Richard II, joined by the likes of Charles Dickens, James Thurber, Noël Coward, and Stevie Wonder.

"Brilliance abounds! The funniest, smartest, most delightful show you'll see this summer."
San Francisco Examiner

"A fabulous four hat ride through the good, the bad, and the funny—from Hamlet to hip-hop. This man is a treasure! Don't miss it!"
Jan Wahl, KRON-TV

"Fantastic! You'll have loads and loads of laughs."
KGO Radio

"Fall in love with the Bard! A wonderfully entertaining ride . . . wildly funny"
Contra Costa Times

Presented by American Conservatory Theater in association with Evenstar Productions and LTM Artists.
