AccessSFUSD: The Arc Art Show

MAY 22, 2026

Art Sale starts at 10 a.m.
Performances start at 11 a.m.

A Student Showcase presented by AccessSFUSD: The Arc—a unique special education program within the San Francisco Unified School District serving students with disabilities ages 18–22. At AccessSFUSD: The Arc, the city of San Francisco itself is the campus, and this event reflects the vibrant, community-based learning that defines the program.

In the spirit of the community as classroom, the showcase highlights dynamic partnerships with the SFUSD Arts Department, American Conservatory Theater, Rock Project SF, Steppin’ Out Dance Studio, Ciclo Sewing Lab, Walt Disney Family Museum, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, and Access Musical Productions.

The event will feature guest live performances, digital media, visual art, and guest speakers. All visual artwork will be available for purchase, with proceeds going directly to student artists and supporting future materials.

The showcase also includes the premiere of two original films written and performed by students in collaboration with director and teaching artist Faith Von Minden, and filmed and edited by teaching artist and filmmaker Brennan Pickman-Thoon.

Support for A.C.T.'s Education & Community Programs is provided by a community of very generous foundation, corporate, government, and individual donors and partners, including: the San Francisco Department of Children, Youth & Their Families, Martin Tannenbaum and the Estate of Gerald B. Rosenstein, the Laird Norton Family Foundation, The Kimball Foundation, US Bank, Bank of America, the Sato Foundation, the San Francisco Foundation, Jeri Lynn & Jeffrey W. Johnson, and Matt and Lisa Sonsini. Foundational general operating support for all of A.C.T.'s programs is provided by San Francisco Grants for the Arts and the Shubert Foundation.
