What can we learn from the stars? This semester, students in the Acting for Critical Transformations (ACT) Project at Downtown High School explored this timeless question by examining both celestial stars and celebrity "star power" during the Jim Crow Era. Our show, The Stars Belong to All of Us, features pieces written by the students that will illuminate how past heroes of Community Cultural Wealth, like the actual stars, formed themselves under intense pressure and still shone their brightest. Come, be inspired, and celebrate with us!

Limited audience capacity. RSVP now to reserve your seats!
