Before the curtain goes up, get insight into the artistic process at this fascinating preshow discussion with the director and artistic staff, sponsored by KDFC Radio.

Sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, this exciting postshow discussion series addresses audience questions and explores the minds, motives, and behavior of the characters.


June 17 at 2 p.m.

Following the matinee performance, join us for a discussion and Q&A with A Walk on the Moon book writer and co-lyricist Pamela Gray, composer and lyricist Paul Scott Goodman, and legendary American rock journalist Ben Fong-Torres (Rolling Stone), exploring the cultural landscape of 1969 and the process of bringing A Walk on the Moon to the stage.

June 27 at 2 p.m.

After the show, join us for a lively Q&A with the actors, designers, and artists who develop the work on stage.


June 20 at 8 p.m.
Join us for the best LGBTQ+ night in town! Mingle with the cast and fellow theatergoers while enjoying free drinks and canapes at this popular afterparty.


June 26 at 7 p.m.

Before the show, raise a glass at this wine tasting event featuring a rotating selection of local wines.

June 30 at 12:45 p.m. (doors open at 12:30 p.m.)

Before this matinee performance, get hands-on with the theater artists who make it happen at this interactive workshop.

PlayTime workshops take place in The Garret on the 5th floor of A.C.T.’s Geary Theater. The doors to The Geary Theater will open at 12:30 p.m.; participants will be escorted upstairs to The Garret for the workshop, which will begin promptly at 12:45 p.m. The matinee performance of A Walk on the Moon will begin at 2 p.m.
