Applications are currently not being accepted for American Conservatory Theater’s Summer Training Congress for Summer 2021. We plan to continue to program in-person in Summer 2022. To be notified when applications open, please contact conservatory@act-sf.org.
We encourage people to consider A.C.T.’s other actor training program; which is being temporarily offered entirely online: The 15-week San Francisco Semester.
Financial Aid
A.C.T. offers a limited number of need- and merit-based scholarships to students enrolled in the 5- or 7-week intensives only. The maximum award ranges from $500 to $1,000 per student. Students enrolled only in the 2-week Shakespeare Intensive are not eligible to apply for a scholarship. While no federal or state aid—such as a Pell Grant or a Stafford Loan—is available for the STC, A.C.T. can work with your current college to develop a consortium agreement if you are eligible.
Students applying for an A.C.T. scholarship must:
- complete their STC enrollment application package and
- submit an online 2020–21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (available at fafsa.ed.gov) by April 17, 2020. Although the STC is not eligible for federal or state aid, we use the FAFSA in order to assess student eligibility for A.C.T. scholarships.
A.C.T.'s school code is: 014545. - Private educational loans are also available if you qualify.
Final STC application deadline for students applying for financial aid:
April 17, 2020
If you have any questions, please contact A.C.T.’s financial aid office at 415.439.2411 or email jlopez@act-sf.org.
