MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS ($25,000+)
Sponsor a single production or an entire season of productions to support the innovative, creative, bold, and exciting work that makes A.C.T. the leading nonprofit theater in the San Francisco Bay Area.
EDUCATION & COMMUNITY PROGRAM SPONSORSHIP ($5,000–$25,000)
Sponsor one of A.C.T.’s acclaimed Education & Community Programs, which serves more than 20,000 Bay Area youth and adults each season:
ACTsmart: A.C.T. provides free tickets, workshops, and Will on Wheels performances to more than 40 partner schools (including all SFUSD high schools) and community-based organizations.
Student Matinee (SMAT): Provides low-cost tickets to more than 5,000 students for mainstage and MFA Program productions each year.
ACTsmart Workshops: Customized pre- and post-show workshops, led by master teaching artists and designed to deepen students’ theatergoing experiences.
Will on Wheels: Touring productions of Shakespearean classics performed by our MFA Program actors at schools and community centers each spring.
Continuation High School Residencies: Year-long residencies providing ongoing instruction in theatrical writing, performance, and production to SFUSD schools serving socioeconomically disadvantaged youth who have not experienced success in conventional public schools.
Community Residencies: Ongoing residencies provided at no cost to diverse partners, including Bessie Carmichael School/Filipino Education Center, the Tenderloin Boys & Girls Club, Access SFUSD: The Arc (for developmentally disabled transition-age youth and adults), Aim High, and Canon Kip Senior Center.
Back to the Source: A week-long summer intensive for educators who use theatrical techniques in the classroom, as well as professional development during the school year. Scholarships are provided to Bay Area public school teachers.

NEW WORKS AT THE STRAND SPONSORSHIP ($25,000+)
New Strands Festival A FREE festival for Bay Area art lovers, the New Strands Festival is a collision of new pieces, works-in-progress, and experiments by innovative artists across different disciplines. From laboratories, to readings, to conversations, to family-friendly presentations, to late-night events, artists and community members are invited to activate The Strand spaces over the course of four days, developing and sharing work that feels fresh and contemporary.

Exclusively tailored for corporate professionals, A.C.T.’s Professional Development Training program has gained a large following among the technology and finance sectors. The Professional Development Training program includes voice, speech, and movement; theater games; storytelling; obstacle handling and improv; public speaking and audience engagement; and relaxation and preparation techniques to improve communication skills and executive presence.
