A.C.T.@Work Professional Development
What is A.C.T.@work?
When it comes to the workplace, soft skills are often the hardest skills to develop. A.C.T.@work is the professional development arm of American Conservatory Theater. Through live, rehearsal based workshops, A.C.T.@work partners with organizations to strengthen essential skills such as communication, storytelling, collaboration, and emotionally intelligent leadership using the tools of theater.
What makes A.C.T.@work different from other professional development programs?
Great leaders and teams do not happen by accident. They practice. By adapting the theatrical rehearsal process to the workplace, participants explore concepts on their feet and learn in the moment how to apply them to real work scenarios. Each session is highly interactive and experiential, ensuring individuals leave with practical tools they can immediately bring back to their day to day work to increase effectiveness and impact.
