3 Minutes to Yes
Every standalone session is led by a professional theater director and built like a rehearsal: participants get on their feet, do real work, and practice in conditions that feel safe enough to try.
This is A.C.T.@work’s only offering for individuals. This is a great way for professionals to use their professional development funds to experience A.C.T.@work training firsthand. This class is limited to 16 seats.
UPCOMING CLASS
3 MINUTES TO YES
The best idea rarely wins on its own merits. It wins because someone made the case for it clearly, quickly, and at the moment it mattered.
In today's workplace, opportunities to influence decisions are getting shorter: a few minutes in a leadership meeting, a hallway conversation before a decision is made, or the opening slides of a presentation before attention shifts elsewhere. The instinct is to fill that time with context and detail, trusting the point will emerge on its own. It rarely does.
This workshop applies the principles of theatrical storytelling to professional communication. Participants will learn a practical framework for capturing attention and building a compelling case. This can be used for pitches, presentations, and high stakes conversations that often get only one chance to land. Participants will get the opportunity to test how this framework can apply to their specific workplace situation.
Who should enroll: Working professionals who want a sharper way to ask for what they need (a decision, a budget, a resource, a yes) in a short window, from an audience that isn’t obligated to give them one.
