Summer Teaching Internship

Come Join Us for the YC’s 2026 Summer Session as a Teaching Intern!
This short-term volunteer program is designed for high school and college-age students interested in a career in theater and education. Interns will spend 1-2 weeks gaining valuable hands-on experience in a classroom with our Juniors (rising 3rd-5th grade) or Middle School (6th-8th grade) students, under the guidance of the Young Conservatory Team and alongside seasoned teaching artists. Interns will have the opportunity to lead some exercises and collaborate with the lead instructor to better understand the curriculum, as well as interact with YC staff to gain an understanding of programming theater classes for young actors.
