This team still sucks—but now they sing! Based on the beloved 1976 Paramount Pictures film written by Bill Lancaster, this new musical follows a washed-up baseball player who takes a job coaching a ragtag team of Little League misfits, including his ex-stepdaughter. Through practice, persistence, and some good luck, they just may find victory in surprising places. Remember: they're not losers. They're athletically-challenged adolescents with developing coordination readiness.

"This scrappy story about misfits, second chances, and found family feels like it was made for the Bay Area spirit. A.C.T. has a long history of championing stories about outsiders, which means the Bad News Bears are going to feel right at home. We couldn’t be more excited to bring the show to San Francisco… and a little nervous which, honestly, feels appropriate for a show about Little League. And don’t worry: no prior baseball knowledge required!"—Eric Garcia and Brian Feinstein
