The Young Conservatory has been commissioning original material written specifically for young actors for decades. This coming Spring, we are commissioning six writers to create monologues and scenes inspired by conversations with Young Conservatory students. The new material will be presented in two performances at The Strand’s Rueff theater on May 22 and 23, 2026, directed by guest director Bob Banday Shryock.
