InterACT Events

At A.C.T.’s free InterACT events, you can mingle with cast members, join interactive workshops with theater artists, and meet fellow theatergoers at hosted celebrations in our lounges. 

Teacher Previews (Thu preview)

Teacher Preview nights include hosted pre-show drinks and snacks, a workshop to help you prepare your students for the show, and a ticket for the preview performance. Tickets are just $20, or free if you’ve already reserved seats for your class to the student matinee. 

Drinks + Drama (Fri preview)

Join us for happy hour before the show! We’ll light up the theater with music, drink specialties, special guests, and more. The lobby opens 90 minutes prior to curtain to get the party started.

Post-show Conversations (Tue 7 p.m., or Wed or Sun matinee)

Want to learn more about the performance you just watched? Stay in your seat after the show, and join us for a thought-provoking Q&A with the artistic team and/or cast following the performance.

Pride Night with A.C.T. (Wed eve)

Mix and mingle at an LGBTQ+ themed party before the show. We'll be offering hosted snacks along with discounted drink specials. Doors open 1 hour prior to curtain.

Tasting Night (Tue eve)

Meet fellow theatergoers and get to know one of our local vendors at this hosted event before the show.

Playtime (Sat matinee)

Organized by our Education and Community Programs department, Playtime workshops explore the artistic process of each of our productions. Led by a member of the creative team or a local theater artist, these workshops will guide you through a creative process related to the production you're about to see. These workshops are hands on, participatory, and open to all ages.

Sensory Friendly Performance

Sensory friendly performances, also called relaxed performances, are designed to create an experience in the theater for neurodiverse audiences or anyone who has sensory sensitivities that might impact their ability to feel comfortable in a typical theater-going experience. For more specifics, please visit our Accessibility page.
